GEM Window and Doors’ Urban 582 features a chain winder locking system as standard. Full perimeter sash seals are designed to improve weather tightness and along with the option of double glazing, can provide increased thermal comfort and performance. Being part of the Capral Urban residential awning windows range, it can be integrated with a complementary selection of sliding windows to provide a cohesive window solution for your project.

Double Glazing Sydney
For standard size aluminium windows, the included in the price glazing options is: 4mm Single clear float glass. Additional options are also available and are calculated as extra on top of the original price. It is important to note, that client is responsible for advising GEM of any glazing requirements, including building code specifications, bushfire zone ratings or BASIX/ NATERS report requirements.
Colonial Bars
Colonial bars can be added to most aluminium windows and are priced per square, with exception of double glazed items which cannot be supplied with colonial bars.

Reveals
We offer a standard range of reveals that can be supplied either primed or raw. The standard reveal option is primed, and can be upgraded to a raw finish at an extra cost.
For all aluminium windows, reveals come pre-fitted all round if purchased. The standard guide to reveals is as follows:

80mm Reveal – Suitable for 70mm Stud (Fibro or Weatherboard Construction)
100mm Reveal – Suitable for 90mm Stud (Fibro or Weatherboard Construction)
116mm Reveal – Suitable for 70mm Stud (Brick Veneer Construction)
138mm Reveal – Suitable for 90mm Stud (Brick Veneer Construction)
Hardware
We pride ourselves on being able to provide very competitive prices to our clients for the custom size aluminium windows and doors. This has been achieved through lean manufacturing processes and standardisation of the product offering. The hardware on all standard size aluminium windows and doors is available in black only.
